TPO/ SINGLE PLY

TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) Single-Ply Membrane Roofing has gained popularity for low-slope and flat commercial roofs because of its reliable heat-welded seams and superb resistance to weathering. Single-Ply Membrane Roofing Systems, or TPO roofing systems, are widely used because of its reflective properties and white color. TPO roofing membranes are the most eco-friendly of all single-ply roofing membranes – no chlorines or dioxins are produced.

The white color reflects heat and allows for cooler and more consistent temperature control. This feature lowers energy costs when companies use less electricity and/or gas to run their air conditioning systems.

TPO single-ply membrane systems are made to provide quality and dependable performance at a lower cost. In warmer climates (like Florida), TPO roofing systems have shown to have longer lifespan than other flat roof systems and save businesses expenses in maintenance and restoration costs.

Single-ply membranes may also contain reinforcement layers, such as glass fiber, polyester fabrics or scrims, or fleece or felt backing. Over the last several decades, single-ply roofing has replaced many older materials used on commercial roofs, such as tar paper. When properly installed by professionals, single-ply roofing systems offer countless advantages over traditional materials due to their unmatched flexibility and strength.
